HANDWASHING

An exercise in the proper steps of handwashing.....

Supplies required for handwashing:

• Handwashing sink
• Hot running water
• Nail brush (stored in sanitizer that is changed daily or as needed)
• Dispenser soap (antibacterial soap is not a requirement)
• Disposable paper towels ( air dry machine is acceptable)

Hands should be scrubbed for 20 seconds........ Entire process should take at least 60 seconds.

Design a poster for your employees on the importance of handwashing...

Remember that to catch their eye, the poster should incorporate humor while being short and to the point.

Set up a demonstration of proper handwashing technique that incorporates the teaching style called coaching.....
