Summary of Wage Payment Rules and Guidelines....... As of December 1, 1997

• Federal Minimum Wage is $ 5.15......
• Overtime @ 1.5 times minimum wage is $7.73 for time worked over eight hours.
• If you pay your employees less than $7.73 per hour you must pay on an eight hours day base.
• If you pay your employees more than $7.73 per hour you may accrue time on a forty hour week and pay 1.5 times for more than forty hours per week.
